The famous Mexican architect Luis Barragan had some pretty strong views about gardens when he was knocking around in the early 1900s. He believed that "a garden must combine the poetic and the mysterious with a feeling of serenity and joy." Well, The Garden House may be a long way away from Barrigan's native Mexico but we're sure it wouldn't have disappointed him...
